If you enjoy wildflowers as much as I do, you will not want to miss an opportunity to visit the Wildflower Lookout in Ronks, Pennsylvania. We visited on a bright, sunny morning in the middle of June and for quite a while, had the place to ourselves. It was the perfect place to test drive our new GoPro Hero 10.
According to their website, Wildflower Lookout is "4 acres of absolute beauty." I couldn't agree more. The Lookout is open from late May/early June to October, Mondays through Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. to sunset. There are different species of flowers blooming throughout the season. There are benches and picnic tables with umbrellas scattered throughout the property where you can sit to have a picnic lunch or just take in the view.
Be aware that a fee is charged for entry to the premises. When we were there we deposited our fee in an honesty box. Photographers can rent a field to have all to themselves, but reservations must be made first.
If you don't mind paying to enjoy fields of beautiful wildflowers, the Wildflower Lookout is for you!
